Tuesday 

Today we had a work day and we were able to work on our paper for our portfolio due on Thursday. I worked on my this i believe paper trying to  make corrections that Mr. McArdle sent me in an email a while back ago. I hope that we all get our paper revised and prefect for our portfolios.   

Thursday 

Today Mr. McArdle went over how to cite paper on a slide show posted to the English blog. We learned that we should never use easy bib or any other helpful websites because they are outdated. We learned all the ins and outs to MLA format citing for book and web sources. I aslo learned that you need to cite where you get your pictures from. Even though it was a bit boring of a class it was very informational and helpful and im glad that Mr. McArdle went over the information. We also had a small amount of time in the end of class to work on our papers.

I had a wonderful thanksgiving weekend i saw all my friends and family. I had a great food and great company!!! I also had Christmas with my family this weekend cuz it was the only time my whole family could get together and i got a new camera and gps.I cant really recall any thanksgiving argument except my sisters fighting over the same boyfriend. The whole argument was all pathos cuz they were just talking about their feelings. so overall all it was a productive weekend but this is a horrible blog cuz im talking on the phone at the same time.

SUNDAY

Im am getting soooo bad a blogging i like always forget and its slowly turning bad lol. Anyway though i went home this weekend and i saw my old friends that i haven't see since like summer because we all went to diffrent schools but for some reason everyone came back this weekend lol not sure why but it worked out i had a lot of fun. It made me realize how much i miss them and how much fun it is to be around them. but thats all i really have to say for now lol so later

ENGLISH

So im actually in English class right now right after intensive review..we still have 20mins of nothing  and your all suffering with me right now. I'm ready to get out of here to go to my sister birthday party back in indy. Im excited to see her she just turned 15 i cant believe she is that old. Saturday

So i went home this weekend to visit the family =0 I also saw SAW in 3D it was pretty awful i wouldnt recomnded seeing it but i watched all the other ones so i felt like i had to fisnish it up. I also went to IU to see my friend Emily we dressed up and went to parties and stuff. I went as a flapper and i realized that no guy really know what that is i got asked that like a million times last night it was soo annoying. So i going to put a pic up of what a flapper looks like lol well thats all i got to say so later

Public Writing

For my pubic writing assignment i going to write about gun control.  I think we should have stricter policy on gun control or make it unable for american citezens to have guns at all. I know that completely changes the 2nd amendment but times have changed and with technology today i feel like guns are dangerously outdated. The  bureau of arm control is only concerned with registering those who own guns but they can't who comes in contact with the gun. How is the bureau really supposed to know who is safe to have a gun and is going to be responsible with it and who isn't. I think that guns should not be allowed for any american to have with theses days we have cell phone to call for help and don't need a gun for intimidate help. We also have security systems to keep our homes safe and i think guns are out dated.

Website

My website is about America education system. America education system has so many flaws and need to be corrected to make a better future. There has been so many cutbacks to schools because of the recent recession and the schools don't know how to cope with the change. They schools are firing teachers which gives students less one on one time with the teachers weakling their education. That also makes more students that need to be assigned to one teacher which creates jam packed class rooms. Also schools are dropping core classes  like music and physical education trying to make their budget work. Those classes can help students learn though a different medium but this opportunity is being taken away from students.  America is falling way behind other countries in test scores  because of these cutbacks.  Also with no the  law no child left behind it is doing just that leaving all the children behind in the school that are not up to par with their test scores.  There is something that people came do to help though. People can become apart of the change by taking action on their local school board and voting on laws for education reform. Also if the go see the new release "waiting for superman" that they could give 15$ gift card to a school of their choice.

Horrible Week

This week officially sucks! So i got my first 2 Cs this week...i haven't got  C or below my whole college career til now and i don't get Cs it makes me so mad! It makes me scared that I could actually get  C as my final grade lol. Also i found out that one of my old employee died this week from cancer,  his name was Richard im really gonna miss him but i have a Chem test Friday so i cant make it to the service. Also found out that my boyfriend's step dad has cancer and he too far along to fix it. He really upset so this weekend im going to go with him to his moms and spend the whole weekend with his family.  Also my brother is going to be deployed to the middle east in 2012 i think.  I hate it when i he leaves i miss him =(  I just want this week to be over. Anyway below i have a pic of my family and then one of me and my boyfriend.

Thurs Oct the 7th

So i went to the talent show thing tues for homecoming week with my roommate. One girl sang a song from Phantom of the Opera and it made me really want to watch tht movie and i realized that i dont have it here =( It such a great movie i should go to the library and see if they have it. Oh i also thought i should explain my blog name. I named it My life as Amber because i was obsessed  with the show my life as Liz when it was on MTV for that one season. It was a great show and i miss it. Im not usually an MTV fan cuz i hat the jersey shore and all that other crap but my life as Liz was actually good. Well that all i have to say so later

My Meeting

So today i had my meeting with Mr. McArdle it was a bit over whelming to see how much work i need to do on this website but at least i have an idea what to do now. I sstill have to revise all my paper too there so much work and too little time. I need to start studying for my human anatomy quiz tomorrow too. I just can't wait for the weekend to actally get to relax bt its only Tuesday uggh! Owell if anything can cheer me up its SAY ANYTHING! Great band! ha that's all i have to say watch the video btw its awesome!

so its Wednesday and im totally done with this week.  I've already have taken all of my tests and im just done with school. Plus i feel sick and all i want to do is stay in bed for the next two days till its the weekend. So i realized outside of my circle of friends that people aren't obsessed with music like we are lol. Thats all we ever do is listen to musics our lives revolve around it. We all have personal favorites like my idols are TOM DELONGE, ALEX GASKARTH , and HALEY WILLIAMS my friends idols vary but we all love music just as much. My two good friends Eric and Reyes are in a band called Falling with Style and we all go to their shows all the time.  Their band name is from Toy Story lol The led singer of the band is name is Josh and he is SUPER FINE and i totally love him even though we really have never had a conversation lol  I'll put their myspace link if you wanna check them out and ps warning is a linking verb is my favorite. So this week really kinda sucks! I have anatomy practical, the paper in English, a chem test and chem homework due all this week.  I cant figure out the chem web assign  4b for the life of me i should really pay attention more but it so hard with Jesky teaching it. One thing is going great in my life though that my fantasy football team is kicking butt...well at least one teams are. I hope i win then i get 50$ excited for that lol. Well thats all i really have to say peace out  
  

Friday 17th at last!!!

Hey so i thought since today is such a good day that I would make my font my favorite color green! So a lot of people on their facebook today keep saying its a G.O.O.D. day and i don't understand what did they spell it like that i feel like i missing out on something..am i??? But anyway i have no idea what i am going to write for this up coming essay and i have no idea what I'm going to do it on. I try to think about it and my mind draws a blank hopefully i can figure it out before tues lol Well thats all i have to say interesting i know lol

Wed the 15th

Did you ever feel like  myspace reject back when that was popular. Everyone would like comment on each other stuff like everyday and have like 10 new messages and people would have like 50picture comments.  I would have like 5 picture comments an like 2 new post a day. 3 out of my 5 comments would be creepy old men and 1 of my new post would be those myspace whores that have their butt as the picture.  I really was a myspace loser but i would have sweet backgrounds because i wouldnt have much to do so i would just update that all the time lol. So my guys friends got me to watch this show called red vs. blue and its hilarious! I'm not really a big halo fan more of a COD type of girl but even if you don't like video games at all its still very entertaining. I posted the very 1st episode up if you wanna watch it and if you want to watch more just go to youtube and all the episodes are up there because that's were it originated from. Also another great show is TOSH.0 i encourage all of you to watch. well thats all i have to say later =)

THE 1ST YES!

Totally the 1st day of September feels good...im so ready for fall especially now that i dont have air conditioning in my dorm! So this would be my second blog of the week so after this im done and it feels good plus i already did my two comments so im really done for the week. Friday the 27th of August

So today I was walking to class and a saw an unfriendly guy wearing a free hugs shirts and  I was very tempted to try to give him a hug to see what he would do.  He didn't look like the kinda guy who would want any sort of hug at all it got me to wondering how many times did he actually give away free hugs? I wonder in you put a hug 1$ if anyone would actually do it?.... just my random thought of the day. 

It starts......

So i guess it starts me using another social networking site..... I miss the good old days where all you had was AIM with one email account attached with it but  now i have a school email, regular email, facebook messages, facebook instant messages, twitter, skype account, myspace and blackboard i feel like its a bit much.
